Beatin Path is a great source for middle school general music teachers and teachers who love the marimba style. You can find materials here for making your own marimbas and instruments as well as great arrangements for marimbas and xylophones.
Many of our products are designed especially for teachers who are trained in Orff Schulwerk. For those who aren't, these books include lesson plans and teaching suggestions that will help make them exciting additions to your classroom curriculum.
Lots of great recorder materials are here for your elementary classroom. David Krosner, Michael Nichols, and Rob Amchin have written great books for beginning recorder players. Michael's materials have lesson plans along with full Orff arrangements. David's book is and interactive integrated recorder resource for music and social studies. Rob's books are sparkling arrangements of songs with Orff accompaniment and includes a PACD.
John Barr has written a collection of songs for treble choir called Amherst Melodies, featuring the poems of Emily Dickenson. Accompaniments are on organ or piano. He continues to add new octavos to his collection. Celah Pence has written several wonderful songs for treble choir.

The Shenandoah Valley's finest new Acoustic Folk band, Shen Fine, plays music from the heart and soul of Virginia. Their music combines stirring pub songs, vocal arrangements and dance music along with originals from the fine songwriters in the band. Shen Fine is a celtic-influenced folk ensemble whose home is the beautiful and historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, U.S.A. Listen to their first CD, Along the Valley Road, released in January, 2003. A second CD, Two Pints, was released in October 2004 and Granny Mary, was released on July 1, 2005. Read a review HERE. Dr. Patrick Ware has just finished a new children's book titled, Lamont C. Parker - Music Day. Connie Hale, Ph.D. has written a great new book for beginning guitar players using the Orff approach with guitars instead of Orff instruments. Elementary Guitar is ideal for upper elementary or middle school players. Also great for college methods classes. Dr. Jesse Hopkins of Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA has written several new octavos for SATB choirs includingMay the Road Rise to Meet You and Go Out With Joy. Carol Warner and Ben Heizer have added several new octavos for church choirs to the Beatin' Path catalog. Ben has just finished a new publication for Organ, Miniatures on Hymn Favorites.
