Sue Mueller (BM, University of Kansas; MED, Leslie College; Master Class Certificate, University of Memphis) associate professor of music and director of the UNLV School of Music, has extensive experience in elementary music education and the Orff Schulwerk approach. She serves as a mentor teacher for apprentices in the field of Orff Schulwerk teacher education. She taught K‐5 music education for 27 years in the Clark County School District, Las Vegas, Nevada, until her 2005 appointment to UNLV.
Sue is a nationally recognized and active workshop clinician for the American Orff Schulwerk Association (AOSA) and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) conferences as well as for conferences and chapters in Canada. Sue has served on the National Board of Trustees for the AOSA as Region II Representative, National Conference Chairperson, Vice President and President.
Sue Mueller is also published in the Clark County Elementary Music Curriculum Guide and Las Vegas Writes II.
